About the Role

Oliver's Travels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski Chalet Specialist to join our dynamic product team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and growing our unique portfolio of chalet properties, ensuring their optimal performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, suppliers, and agents to secure new and existing properties that meet our brief and standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and agents to resolve queries and issues related to property listings, contracts, and terms and conditions.
  • Manage and maintain successful supplier relationships to ensure optimal commercial terms and conditions.
  • Enter and update property data in our CRM, Salesforce, and Booking System to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Add and update properties on our website to meet team targets and maintain product quality.
  • Lead the development of our chalet programme, ensuring it stands out among the competition and meets our brand standards.
  • Assist the sales team with queries regarding pricing, availability, and property listings.
  • Negotiate and arrange staff FAM, educational, and product trips to promote our chalet programme.
  • Work with the Concierge team to offer additional services such as ski school, lift passes, and ski hire, ensuring optimal commercial terms are secured.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services team to monitor and act on any quality issues.
  • Liaise with the marketing team on special offers and marketing campaigns to promote our chalet programme.
  • Promote the company and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as loading rates, publishing special offers, and writing descriptions.
  • Ensure product is delivered and presented to a high standard, including proofing copy and data entry.
  • Support customer booking enquiries during the peak sales season.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within the ski industry or extensive work experience within the Alps.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Data management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to take initiative, problem solve, and be proactive.
  • Ability to successfully manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Brilliant attention to detail.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the most popular ski resorts in Europe.
Desirable Skills
  • Full driving license.
  • French speaker.
