We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ski Chalet Specialist at Oliver's Travels.

About the Role:

The Ski Chalet Specialist will be responsible for developing and growing our unique portfolio of chalet properties, ensuring optimal performance at all times. This will involve working closely with our Product Team, suppliers, and wider teams at Oliver's Travels to contract new and existing properties, secure optimal commercial terms, and maintain successful supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the chalet programme by contracting new and existing properties to required brief and standards, securing optimal commercial terms and conditions.
  • Liaise with property owners, suppliers, and agents to resolve queries and issues regarding property listings, contracts, and terms and conditions.
  • Manage and maintain successful supplier relationships, ensuring high standards of service and communication.
  • Conduct data entry in CRM, Salesforce, and booking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Add and update properties on our website, including content, prices, and availability, to meet team targets and maintain product quality.
  • Lead the presentation of the chalet programme on our website, ensuring it stands out among competitors.
  • Assist the sales team with queries regarding pricing, availability, and property listings.
  • Negotiate and arrange staff FAM, educational, and product trips to secure the best deals.
  • Work with the Concierge team to offer additional services, such as ski school, lift passes, and ski hire, ensuring optimal commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Services team to monitor and act on quality issues.
  • Liaise with the marketing team on special offers and marketing campaigns.
  • Promote the company and maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the ski industry or extensive work experience in the Alps.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Data management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and be proactive.
  • Ability to manage relationships with suppliers successfully.
  • Brilliant attention to detail.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of popular ski resorts in Europe.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Full driving license.
  • Fluent French speaker.
