Salary: £37,500 - £43,000 per annum, plus an additional £2,000 after one year and an ongoing bonus of up to 10%.
Job Description: As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. You will then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must be an NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years. You should have experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations, including surgical, medical, A&E, community, and practice nursing. You should also have IT skills and experience of using a range of software.
