About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Mpac, where you will be responsible for the electrical build, wiring, and testing of special purpose automation.

In this role, you will work closely with our productions team, as well as other teams, to deliver projects effectively and efficiently. You will be required to wire machines, sub-assemblies, and control panels to Mpac schematics and documentation, and work with senior electrical technicians, supervisors, and managers to resolve issues.

You will also be responsible for ensuring time is booked accurately, logging rework/non-value time, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you will participate in machine site installations and set-ups in the UK or abroad, and contribute to the development of apprentices.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work under their own supervision or as part of a multi-technical team, and have experience working in an electrical engineering environment. They will also have a good understanding of low voltage systems, analogue and digital IO, and other typical automation systems.
