Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a neonatal unit setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to families on infant care and development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 6 months experience working with infants in a neonatal unit
  • Newly qualified with interest in neonatal career
  • 6 months paediatric experience
  • Awareness of standards of care and auditing
  • Keen to further own development and develop teaching role to unqualified staff/students
  • Participated in service development and implementation of change
  • Knowledge of child protection issues recommendations and other relevant documents
  • Commitment to promotion of health
Physical Skills
  • Able to work weekdays, nights and weekends
  • Flexible
  • Willing to be flexible in service delivery
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to neonatal nursing
