About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatal intensive care and be able to lead and coordinate shifts, work well independently and within the team, and support junior staff and pre-registration student nurses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, family-centred care to neonates and their families
  • Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring effective communication and teamwork
  • Work well independently and within the team, supporting junior staff and pre-registration student nurses
  • Participate in service development and implementation of change
  • Contribute to promoting a positive team-based attitude

Requirements

  • RGN, RSCN, or RN (Adult or Child) qualification
  • Post-registration qualification in neonatal specialist area (ENB 405 or equivalent)
  • Teaching and assessing or mentorship qualification
  • Two years clinical experience in speciality
