Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Building Operations Specialist to join our team at Furze Down School. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building, maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Our goal is to raise the profile and status of children with Special Educational Needs, provide support to their families and carers, and inspire them to become ambitious and aspirational for their futures.

Job Description

This role involves supporting cleaning staff to carry out their jobs effectively, reporting any issues related to the quality of work to the Site Manager. You will also be responsible for opening or securing the school building, checking all evacuation routes and emergency exits are clear. Additionally, you will monitor and support contractors working on site, and deliver urgent post as required.
