Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Records Coordinator to join our Medical Records team in Southport. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical records management and supporting our legal teams in their pursuit of justice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Requesting and retrieving medical records from various organisations as directed by our legal teams.
  • Reviewing records to ensure completeness and accuracy, identifying any missing information and escalating issues to the Legal Client Care Team.
  • Processing and uploading medical records to our Case Management system within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Archiving and locating stored media while adhering to data handling policies and GDPR guidelines.
Requirements
  • A strong background in medical records management, preferably with experience in the legal sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail, client care, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and remotely, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience with software tools such as Adobe and Microsoft would be advantageous.
