Job Description:

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work as a Locality Social Worker, providing support and guidance to individuals and families in need. As a member of our team, you will be working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for those we serve.

  1. Conducting initial safeguarding inquiries and s42 inquiries to identify potential risks and threats
  2. Providing expert advice and guidance to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers on safeguarding concerns and best practices
  3. Developing and implementing effective safeguarding strategies and plans to mitigate risks and protect vulnerable individuals
  4. Collaborating with other professionals to share knowledge, expertise, and resources to achieve better outcomes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post-qualifying experience of working as a Locality Social Worker or within a Safeguarding Team
  • HCPC Registration
  • At least 3 years' post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
