About the Role

The Adult Social Care team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Services Manager to lead our Children & Families teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of social workers and other professionals in delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the team, providing support, development reviews, and performance management to ensure the delivery of excellent services and staff well-being.
  • Develop a comprehensive team plan that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization, local performance improvements, and lessons learned from complaints.
  • Provide regular supervision that is reflective and direction-driven, preventing drift and delay in the child's journey.

Salary: £50,788 - £52,805 per annum (dependent on experience)

  • Welcome payment of £5,000
  • Hybrid working opportunities (2-3 days in the office)
  • 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service
  • Double payrolls each week
