Social Care Advocate

Ashberry Recruitment is pleased to offer a challenging and rewarding role for a Social Care Advocate. As a key member of our team, you will be working with families in need of support and protection in the South Kesteven district.
You will be responsible for assessing and identifying the needs of children, working closely with other agencies to deliver a comprehensive service. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to develop and maintain relationships with families, providing guidance and support where needed.
This role requires the ability to produce clear and concise reports, assessments, and records using electronic file systems. You must also be able to work effectively in a team and contribute to multi-agency setups, sharing knowledge and expertise.
About the Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including:
- £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

To excel in this role, you will need:
- DIPSW or equivalent Social Work qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of service needs and best practice
- Competent IT skills
- Ability to write clear reports and assessments
