Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process and Improvement Consultant to join our Systems and Information team within the Risk and Safety department. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in facilitating Continual Service Improvements and Process Reviews.

The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying business requirements and improvement opportunities, as well as understanding and documenting complex business processes. You will work closely with teams across the Department and Company to ensure practices, processes, and systems are fit for purpose and aligned with the direction of the Risk and Safety Senior Leadership and R&S Steering group.

About the Role

  • Ensure Risk and Safety business processes are documented, meet business needs, and are available for colleagues.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather current and future business requirements and define end-to-end business processes.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for development/enhancement of current and future business requirements or process needs.
  • Use process and performance metrics to measure the scope of improvement opportunity.
  • Co-ordinate gap analysis of existing business processes to draw meaningful conclusions and package these for presentation to Senior Stakeholders.
  • Participate in project management and KPI tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design and agree solutions to meet current, future business needs and/or to bridge gaps in current solutions.
  • Consult throughout a project lifecycle and post-implementation with the Project Team to ensure business requirements are satisfied.
  • Prepare impact analysis and value add for any new concepts or initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Business Analyst/Change Management Role who can identify requirements and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience of understanding and documenting complex business processes - both as is and to be (process improvement and definition).
  • A great team player, able to motivate and encourage collaboration amongst project team members.
