Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Theatre Nurse to join our team at Vetisco's first opinion small animal hospital in Newbury, West Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of small animal theatre practice, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and excellent infection control.

As a training practice, the role also involves supporting student nurses at different stages of their training with anaesthesia and theatre practice. You will work closely with a large team of dedicated Vets, Nurses, and supporting team members in the delivery of excellent client & patient care.

The Ideal Candidate: To succeed in this role, you must have confidence in all areas of veterinary nursing, a desire to drive forward clinical standards and client care, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. RCVS registration is essential, and experience as a clinical supervisor or willingness to complete the training is preferred.

About Vetisco: Our main Hospital has RCVS Tier 3 hospital status and offers a wide range of facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and microsurgical equipment. With a team of 17 vets, including certificate holders in small animal surgery and ophthalmology, we provide an ideal environment for continued professional development.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is up to £30,500 DOE, inclusive of a relocation allowance of up to £2,000.
