About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. As a Senior Theatre Nurse, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of small animal theatre practice, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, excellent infection control, and positive outcomes for patients.

You will work closely with our dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, and supporting staff members to deliver exceptional client and patient care. Your expertise will be valuable in supporting student nurses at different stages of their training, as well as contributing to the development of clinical standards within the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of small animal theatre practice, including anaesthesia and surgery.
  • Lead by example, promoting high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Support student nurses in their training, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical standards and policies within the practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • RVCs registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in theatre nursing, preferably in a small animal setting.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and driving clinical excellence.
