This Clinical Extern position offers a unique chance to develop competencies in a clinical environment while working as part of an interprofessional team.
Responsibilities include practicing under supervision, carrying out or assisting with activities of daily living, and providing patient care activities such as mobility assistance, skin integrity measures, and vital signs.
- Requirements:
- Enrollment in nursing, paramedic, undergraduate medical, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy programs
- Current certificate in BLS and completion of orientation and mandatory training
- Good academic standing, successful learning experiences, and ability to communicate confidentially and professionally
- Ability to work as a team member, request guidance, and demonstrate critical thinking skills
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on qualifications and experience)
