Job Details:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team as a Community Healthcare Position. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Public Health Nurses, providing healthcare needs assessments, and developing health promotion strategies.

About the Team:
  • Estimated salary: £46,200 - £58,500 per annum, dependent on experience

The ideal candidate will have a background in Public Health Nursing, ideally with experience in school nursing or a related field. A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislation is also essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Public Health Nursing team members
  • Develop and implement health promotion strategies
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Conduct healthcare needs assessments for children and young people

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) qualification
  • Experience in Public Health Nursing, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislation
