**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Professional to support our anaesthesia team at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and a desire to develop their skills in anaesthesia assistance.
As an Anaesthesia Assistant-in-Training, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting anaesthesiologists with patient care during surgery
- Administering medications and managing anesthetic depth
- Performing airway management and assisting with difficult airway management
- Evaluating life-threatening situations and assisting with protocols
- Providing clinical teaching and mentoring to students and other healthcare professionals
Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in respiratory therapy and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
