About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Chemotherapy Scheduler at the Kent Oncology Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling chemotherapy appointments, ensuring patients receive their appointments, and making any necessary changes throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule chemotherapy appointments for patients at the Kent Oncology Centre
  • Ensure patients receive their appointments and make any necessary changes
  • Manage the scheduling of central venous access devices (CVAD) and other associated appointments
  • Supply relevant documentation for the new patient information clinic
  • Monitor the chemotherapy action sheet and ensure it is completed in accordance with centre policy
  • Assist in the training of chemotherapy support workers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Phased training program to be completed within 1 to 6 months
  • Working knowledge of the Kent Oncology Management System or equivalent
  • IT skills including word processing
  • Previous experience working with the general public
  • Clerical experience
