Chemotherapy Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Chemotherapy Scheduler at the Kent Oncology Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling chemotherapy appointments, ensuring patients receive their appointments, making necessary changes, and following up on outstanding appointments throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule chemotherapy appointments and ensure patients receive their appointments
- Make necessary changes to appointment schedules as required
- Follow up on outstanding appointments throughout the day
- Manage the scheduling of central venous access devices (CVAD) and other associated appointments
- Supply relevant documentation for the new patient information clinic
- Monitor the chemotherapy action sheet and ensure it is completed in accordance with centre policy
- Assist in the training of chemotherapy support workers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Phased training program to be completed within 1 to 6 months
- Working knowledge of the Kent Oncology Management System or equivalent
- IT skills including word processing
- Previous experience working with the general public
- Clerical experience
