We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chemotherapy scheduling process.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the scheduling of chemotherapy appointments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of treatment.
- Manage the scheduling of central venous access devices (CVAD) and other associated appointments.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient appointments, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our scheduling process.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Phased training program to be completed within 1 to 6 months.
- Working knowledge of the Kent Oncology Management System or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
