About the Location:

Our hotel is a stunning 18th-century manor set in the picturesque English countryside, just 40 minutes from London. With 500 acres of beautiful landscape, our hotel offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

About the Role:

The Housekeeping Coordinator is a critical role that ensures the smooth operation of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the cleaning of guest rooms, managing room assignments, and communicating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign duties to room attendants using HotSOS and Opera systems
  • Open the coordinator telephone line for guests and employees
  • Check special guest requests and communicate with relevant parties
  • Monitor the progress of room cleaning and address any issues
  • Coordinate room re-allocation and prepare evening special amenities lists
  • Perform administrative tasks and alert managers to technical issues
  • Monitor and coordinate special projects and prepare daily room attendants schedules
  • Resolve traces in the Opera system and check on early arrivals
  • Use software systems to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
  • Update managers on important operational matters

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Experience working with computer systems to allocate rooms
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Must have work authorization for the United Kingdom
