Job Title: Administrative HR Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative HR Support Specialist to join our client in the west side of Edinburgh. This is a 3-month contract role with high potential for extension, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and efficient filing and data records systems, both paper-based and electronic.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless communication and documentation processes.
  • Respond to and follow up on HR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and advice within the confines of company policies and legislation.
  • Contribute to the development of an effective HR service through participation in forward planning activities and projects.
  • Pursue continuous learning and development of HR knowledge and understanding, applying this expertise to enhance HR processes and procedures within the organization.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in an administration role within HR, preferably focused on sickness/absence policy and recording sick absence information. Strong MS Office skills, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to work are essential.

Salary:

£15.50 - £17.50 per hour, based on experience.
