About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Systemic Family Psychotherapist. The role involves being the Deputy Therapies Lead at Lavender Walk and the Tier 4 lead Family Therapist. You will have a fantastic opportunity to continue the development of systemic thinking and practice.

We are a 12-bed General Adolescent Unit (GAU) that cares for young people between the ages of 13-18 years old, with complex mental health needs and emotional difficulties. We serve young people from various boroughs in London, including Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.

Main Duties

We are looking for a motivated individual who is enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and adaptable to work within our well-established and welcoming multi-disciplinary team. The post-holder will be part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) influencing and supporting the service development and growth.

The post-holder will lead on ensuring the provision of highly specialist systemic interventions, formulation, and practice. The post-holder will provide line management and clinical supervision to specific members of the Lavender Walk therapy team and deputise for the Therapies Lead in their absence.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant mental health/social welfare profession. You will have a Master's level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent qualification, accredited by UKCP.

You will have additional training in a specialised area of systemic practice through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent) or a combination of specialist short courses. You will be registered with the UKCP as a Systemic Psychotherapist and have evidence of continuing professional development as required by the UKCP.

You will have strong links with Systemic Family Psychotherapist colleagues within the CNWL service line and will provide clinical supervision for Systemic Family Psychotherapists in CNWL's Tier 4 CAMHS pathway.
