**Role Overview**

Zen Educate is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with special education needs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in an SEN capacity, and be able to lead a team of varying experience levels. The role involves supporting small classes of ages 3-19 with severe needs, and communicating effectively with students who use non-verbal communication methods such as Makaton and PECS.

**About the Role**

This is a full-time position, working hours are 8:30am - 4pm. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with complex needs, and contributing to the development of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary, up to £90 per day, depending on experience. You will also receive ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting children in an SEN capacity
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
