Job Title: Compliance Senior Manager

Job Summary:

Merje Ltd is seeking a seasoned Compliance Senior Manager to join our team and lead our compliance efforts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory and legal compliance globally, ensuring that our operations meet all necessary regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Compliance Framework: Design and develop our policy framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Provide Compliance Advice: Offer expert advice and support to ensure regulatory and legal adherence across our global operations.
  3. Conduct Compliance Horizon Scanning: Stay up-to-date with new regulatory requirements and prepare our organization for future compliance challenges.
  4. Manage Regulatory Monitoring and Assurance: Oversee regulatory monitoring and assurance, including Total Metering and Billing Systems (TMBS) reporting.
  5. Lead Training and Communications: Develop and deliver training programs to embed compliance across our global operations.
  6. Support Enterprise Risk Management: Collaborate with our Enterprise Risk Management team to identify and mitigate compliance-related risks.
  7. Coordinate Policy Development: Work with our team to develop policies, procedures, and guidance to ensure clarity and compliance.
  8. Produce Compliance Reports: Prepare and present regulatory and legal compliance reports to our Risk and Assurance Committee.
  9. Oversee Whistleblower Facility: Manage our whistleblower facility and support breach investigations and reporting.
  10. Team Management: Lead a team of two Compliance Coordinators and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.

Requirements:

  1. Compliance Experience: A minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar compliance role, preferably in the Telco, Financial Services, or Utilities sector.
  2. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Compliance, such as [list relevant certifications or degrees].
  3. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) and Data Protection is highly desirable.
