Job Overview

Marks Sattin is seeking a seasoned Compliance Director to join their team on a 6-month Fixed Term basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a compliance professional with international market experience to contribute to the growth and development of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with a passion for working in the international markets. They will be responsible for developing and assessing the existing centralized record of inbound customer payments, producing detailed statistics and analytics, and documenting their findings.

The role will involve:

  • Analyzing and understanding risk considerations after gathering compliance information on customers' inbound funds and payment routing
  • Creating a framework for future ongoing compliance checks and customer Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures
  • Documenting findings and analyzing/reviewing with the senior team
  • Providing recommendations for improvements based on findings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in compliance or risk management (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Previous experience in a compliance or risk role in an organization making or receiving international payments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
