Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting a pupil or small group of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
  • Collaborating with the Classroom Teacher during lessons.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress and concerns.
  • Providing supervision during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
  • Setting work and marking where appropriate.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and driving interaction and positive learning outcomes.

About the Role

Polaris Community's SEN schools provide specialist education for vulnerable children. As a SEN Educator, you will work in a therapeutic environment that prioritizes the emotional health and wellbeing of everyone. The successful candidate will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.
