About the Role
">This Senior Financial Planning Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, a leading global company in the finance sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering the financial performance of GBIS UK, measuring and analyzing the profitability of the activity portfolio, and optimizing the use of all resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with experience in financial steering and a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the industry. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work as part of a team, approachable and experienced in developing/coaching team members.
In this role, you will lead transversal exercises such as annual budgeting, strategic reviews, and financial modeling of GBIS UK's financial trajectory. You will also contribute to global projects, including ESD, business line transformation, and local regulatory programs to meet new regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the DFIN/PFS team, you will oversee all functions onshore and offshore partnering PFS to deliver accurate and valuable information used in the Management Information pack. This pack helps senior management make strategic decisions based on the performance of the platform in line with the Target Operating Model and Reporting Target.
You will also be expected to represent DFIN and PFS in different projects and committees/governances, facing senior management during MIs presentations.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Requirements
- Academic background: Engineer degree, BSc/BA, MSc/MA, MBA, CPA/CA, CFA is a plus;
- Minimum of 10/15 years of experience working in Financial services, with experience in financial steering being a plus;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in process improvement analysis, business process reengineering, and transformation/integration projects;
- Office pack, Project Management skills, understanding of new Digital Technologies, Internal IT architecture (FO to Accounting) is a plus;
- Functional background expected in one of the following areas: Accounting norms and standards (IFRS, local GAAP is a plus), Regulatory Reporting processes, Liquidity and Scarce Resources Management, Product Control, Market Risk, Credit Risk, financial performance steering.
