About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team at YourPrime. As a Graduate IT Support Technician, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our customers, offering technical support and resolving IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st line support for all incoming IT queries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Triage, manage, and resolve support tickets using our internal ticketing system.
  • Utilize SQL to manage, query, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their technical issues and guide them through solutions.
  • Identify, diagnose, and escalate complex technical issues to 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and technical documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support to continually improve your skills.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL for database management and troubleshooting, with a willingness to learn and develop further skills.
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
