We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading children's residential home. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home.
As a positive role model, you will lead a team of professionals to provide therapeutic care and support to children and young people, focusing on achieving the best outcomes. You will also supervise and mentor staff, organize work patterns, and facilitate care-focused training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team to provide quality care services and strategic planning
- Supervising and mentoring staff
- Organizing work patterns and facilitating care-focused training
- Acting as a positive role model to colleagues and children
We are looking for someone with:
- 2 years' experience working in a residential children's home
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Strong people management skills
- Experience with budgets and rotas
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins
