About the Role
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Paediatric Specialist to join our team. As a Community Paediatric Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist paediatric services to children and young people in Cumbria, working closely with colleagues in the NCIC Community Children's Services, Primary Care, and Cumbria County Council Children's Services.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and manage children with developmental difficulties and disability, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Provide health assessments for children looked after, children being adopted, and children being assessed for an Education, Health and Care Plan.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people.
Requirements
- MB or equivalent qualification.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- Experience of Paediatrics and Community Paediatrics.
