This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic paediatric team, providing effective healthcare to the people of North Cumbria. We are seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse (Child) with active RSCN registration to work within our paediatric emergency department.

Main Duties of the Job

You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, providing the prescribed nursing care without supervision. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice within the department and ward area.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a student nurse or paediatric nursing within the NHS or equivalent, and will be able to work as a team member, without close supervision. You will also have the ability to act as a mentor to HCAs and newly qualified nurses.
