Senior Practitioner for Children and Young People

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Liaison Team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and expertise to our team, working closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical leadership and supervision to the MHLS team, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes for children and young people.
- Develop and maintain robust holistic care pathways for children and young people, working closely with other services and agencies.
- Lead on the development of the MDT knowledge and skills set around the assessment and response to the needs of children and young people.
- Provide assessment and direct patient interventions for children and young people, focusing on relapse prevention, early discharge, and improved quality of life.
- Support non-mental health colleagues from a range of disciplines, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Registered Social Worker, RMN, or Occupational Therapist with current registration with the relevant body.
- Recent experience of working within a CYP service that provided emergency or urgent response and assessment to children and young people.
- Experience in leading on and managing complex children and young people's mental health presentations.
- Prior clinical leadership and service development experience.
