Physiotherapist - Children's and Young People's Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Medical Team at City Football Group. As a Physiotherapist - Children's and Young People's Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical care and support to our young players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to promote the health and wellbeing of all players, including monitoring and assessing all players for their fitness and injury status to train or play.
- Provide accurate and informed diagnoses, treatments, advice, and rehab sessions for injured players.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs to minimize the risk of injury and optimize player recovery.
- Collaborate with the Head Physiotherapist and other medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Attend appointments with players who are seeing specialists where requested.
- Communicate all decisions and actions to key stakeholders and the rest of the medical team to ensure excellent continuity of care.
- Maintain detailed records of all actions in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize data and information to inform prehab, rehab, or advise on conditioning protocols.
- Arrange and undertake pre-registration medical screenings and musculoskeletal examinations, in conjunction with the Club Doctor.
- Liaise with all staff to cascade best medical practice across all teams to ensure a smooth transition for players who train regularly at the club from the first team to youth teams.
- Work with an interdisciplinary approach within the department that includes close links to all areas of the Club and contribute to the CPD of the Medical Team.
- Ensure the Club and players are compliant with all medical and anti-doping guidelines, rules and regulations of the governing bodies.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a minimum at degree level in Physiotherapy (2:1 or above).
- Registered Physiotherapist member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a CSP member and ATMiFF Level 5 qualified.
- Hold an Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football or hold a current ITMMiF with a view to obtaining ATTMIF.
- Experience working in a professional sport setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Enhanced DBS check and thorough understanding and qualifications in relation to safeguarding.
- Frequent travel required, with a flexible approach to work, including evenings, weekends, and match days as required.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
