About the Role

We are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker at The Edmund Trust. This role involves assisting people with learning disabilities in their own homes and while out in the community.

As a Community Support Worker, you will be involved in assisting with household chores, personal care, medication management, and supporting people to medical appointments. You will also be responsible for accompanying individuals on daytime outings, such as shopping trips, dining out, and visits to the park.

Requirements
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own car is essential for this role.
  • A friendly, patient, and outgoing personality.
  • A passion to help others and make a difference in the community.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility as shifts do cover evenings and weekends.

Previous experience is not required as full training will be given.
