Experienced Social Worker Wanted for Senior Leadership Role

**Job Overview**
Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to fill the role of a Senior Practitioner/Senior Social Worker in our Family Support and Safeguarding Team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, focusing on children up to the age of 18.
**About Us**
We are a stable, highly motivated, and supportive team that values strengths-based practice underpinned by relationship-based practice. Our goal is to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families in South Cambridgeshire.
**Role Responsibilities**
This hybrid role combines office and home working, with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office to support the Team Manager. You will manage a varied caseload of Child in Need, Children in need of Protection, Public Law Outline, and care proceedings.
**Key Requirements**
We are looking for an individual who can act in partnership with children and their families using a Motivational Interviewing approach to achieve sustainable change and improved outcomes. A strong understanding of relationship-based practice and a commitment to continuous learning and development are essential.
**Benefits**
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a wide range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
