About The Grove Medical Group
We are a 13,500 patient practice seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as a GPWSI Lead. As a key member of our admin team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and organized administrative service for our GPWSI ENT service.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties will include:
- Receiving and processing incoming referrals
- Liaising with GP/practice nurse regarding referrals
- Maintaining and managing appointment rotas
- Using Choose and Book system to manage incoming referrals
- Communicating with patients via telephone/text/letter
- Communicating with GP practices via telephone/email regarding referrals
- Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists for clinics - communicating with GP/practice nurse to ensure within target time
- Submitting monthly invoices
- Workflowing incoming mail
- Maintaining the practice recall system, ensuring annual targets are completed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- Confident in use of Microsoft systems such as Excel, Word, etc.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience of working in a GP surgery or medical environment and SystmOne experience would be advantageous.
