About the De Vere Emerging Leader Programme

The De Vere Emerging Leader Programme is a 14-month structured development programme designed for individuals looking to start their career in hospitality. The programme provides valuable experience and insight into each operational department that makes a hotel and events venue run smoothly.

Programme Structure

The programme begins with an introduction to the departments at the heart of running a hotel and events venue. For the first 6 months, participants will spend time in 6 different departments learning new skills to gain an excellent foundation. The departments will include:

  • Meetings & Events
  • Bar
  • Restaurant
  • Reception
  • Housekeeping
  • Kitchen

Following the initial 6 months, participants will work with the Management team to choose 2 departments to focus on and gain a greater depth of knowledge, including learning about the duties involved at a supervisory level.
