AWE Plc is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineering Technician to join their team in the Engineering Trials Delivery Unit (ETDU).

">About the Role:

This role involves performing component installation, calibration, inspection of equipment, and routine maintenance activities to support operational trials.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside team members on electronic/electrical hardware on a variety of voltage systems.
  • Develop your technical expertise for the work that the team undertakes.
  • Provide technical support for other engineers in the team.
Requirements:
  • Rélevant academic or vocational technical qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Robust organisational and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority-changing environment and be able to manage their own workload.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,640 - £40,000 per annum, depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience.

This role offers a 9-day working fortnight, allowing you to enjoy every other Friday off, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave. You will also receive market-leading contributory pension scheme benefits, life assurance, discounts, and special leave policy.
