About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Modern Workplace to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for owning and delivering the technical roadmap for our Windows, Mac, Mobile, Meeting Room, and Virtual platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the technical roadmap for the area, ensuring alignment with Aviva's strategy and enterprise architecture roadmaps.
  • Effectively manage resources to maintain skills and capabilities to deliver the roadmap and operate 24x7 services.
  • Manage suppliers to maximize service performance and ensure the right technology choices are made.
  • Oversee risk and control, making assessment decisions and management where necessary.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in engineering and supporting physical and virtual estates and delivering relevant transformation in a large enterprise.
  • Deep and broad technical, commercial, and delivery experience in the areas of scope.
  • Ability to manage a high workload effectively.
  • Understanding of relevant industry trends and benchmarks, particularly in Modern Workplace in Financial Services or other highly secure industries.
  • Good understanding of risk and control environment, and management of risk – experience of Financial Services would be beneficial.
