About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Modern Workplace Engineering team. As the Head of Modern Workplace Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical roadmap for our Windows, Mac, Mobile, Meeting Room, and Virtual platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technical strategy for Modern Workplace Engineering, ensuring alignment with Aviva's overall business strategy and enterprise architecture roadmaps.
  • Manage a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services and support to our 37,000 colleagues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the right technology choices are made and services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Oversee risk and control management, ensuring that our Modern Workplace Engineering services are secure and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in engineering and supporting physical and virtual estates, with a strong track record of delivering transformation in a large enterprise.
  • Deep technical, commercial, and delivery experience in Modern Workplace Engineering, with a strong understanding of industry trends and benchmarks.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a high workload effectively.
  • Good understanding of risk and control environments, with experience of managing risk in a Financial Services context.
