The Role: Lead Modern Workplace Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Modern Workplace Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering our Microsoft 365 environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of security, performance, and usability within M365 services.
  • Provide expert guidance on Modern Device Management techniques, Windows Enterprise, endpoint security, application deployment, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Develop and implement robust security strategies, including Zero Trust principles, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC).
  • Ensure secure user management through expertise in Microsoft Entra ID and Entitlement Management.
  • Drive the adoption of modern device provisioning techniques like Autopilot and application deployment methods like MSIX.
  • Utilize strong programming skills in PowerShell and scripting languages to automate tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Architects to translate high-level designs into actionable configurations and tasks.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Engineers and Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with a strong track record in implementing complex technology solutions.
  • Extensive technical knowledge in the implementation and management of M365 solutions, including Modern Device Management techniques, Windows Enterprise, endpoint security, application deployment, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Expertise in deploying security strategies such as Zero Trust, using tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID for secure user management and effective use of Entitlement Management.
  • Proficiency in modern device provisioning techniques such as Autopilot and application deployment methods like MSIX.
  • Excellent programming skills in PowerShell and scripting languages.
  • Experience managing Apple devices using platforms such as Jamf is a plus.
