Job Title: Modern Workplace Architect

Clarion Housing Group is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction of our end-user computing environment and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of our Microsoft 365 services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop architectural design standards within our wider technology architecture capability and ensure ongoing alignment to industry best practice.
  • Create architectural blueprints and high-level designs that enable business objectives.
  • Identify innovative solutions that optimise security, performance, and usability, translating these into executable plans.
  • Provide hands-on support to the Engineering team for successful implementation and effective ongoing management.
  • Set and refine the strategic direction of M365 services, including Modern Desktop, Operating Systems, Device Management, Endpoint Security, Application Deployment, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of skilled Engineers and Analysts, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in designing and executing transitions to Microsoft 365 services within complex enterprise organisations.
  • Experience in developing architectural design standards and ensuring ongoing alignment to industry best practice.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 services, including Modern Desktop, Operating Systems, Device Management, Endpoint Security, Application Deployment, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of skilled Engineers and Analysts.
