As the Head of Modern Workplace Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical roadmaps, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our 37,000 colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve colleague experience, risk, and efficiency
  • Manage a team of engineers to deliver 24x7 services and maintain skills and capabilities
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maximize service performance and ensure the right technology choices
  • Oversee risk and control management, making informed decisions and assessments

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in engineering and supporting physical and virtual estates, with a track record of delivering transformation in large enterprises
  • Deep technical, commercial, and delivery experience in Modern Workplace Engineering
  • Ability to manage a high workload effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Understanding of industry trends and benchmarks, particularly in Financial Services
  • Good understanding of risk and control environments, with experience in Financial Services a plus
