Job Overview
The Cook Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of chefs in the preparation and cooking of food for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to work and be able to cover Wrexham and Flintshire Hospitals.
Main Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food for large numbers of people, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Lead a team of chefs in a busy kitchen environment, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Experience of working as a chef in a busy kitchen environment
- Flexible approach to work and needs of the service
- Ability to lead a team and motivate staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
