About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Copse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with care co-ordinators, commissioners, families, and carers to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Implement the Mental Health Act and collaborate with the Ministry of Justice as required.
  • Provide clinical leadership and governance to the service, overseeing the care pathway from assessment to discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient care.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Ability to take full responsibility for patient care.
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Experience in General Adult or rehabilitation settings, with a background in multidisciplinary teamwork.
