About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Copse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the management of complex mental health cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and collaborate with care coordinators, commissioners, families, and carers to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Implement the Mental Health Act and liaise with relevant authorities as required.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, promoting evidence-based practice and effective treatment.
  • Oversee the service user care pathway from assessment to discharge, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes.
  • Participate in on-call rosters and provide cover for other medical colleagues during leave and absences.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care.
  • Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved Clinician status.
  • Experience in General Adult or rehabilitation settings, with a proven track record of working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in risk assessment and risk management, ideally in inpatient settings.
