We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at The Copse, a leading provider of mental health services. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and providing clinical leadership to our service users.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in general adult psychiatry and experience in working with complex cases. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, implementing the Mental Health Act, and formulating care plans and treatments. You will also be expected to provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with care co-ordinators, commissioners, families, and carers to ensure seamless care pathways
- Implement the Mental Health Act and liaise with the Ministry of Justice as required
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Manage a caseload of patients and implement care plans and treatments
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
- Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved Clinician status
