Electrical Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team as a High Voltage Asset Condition Monitoring Specialist. This role involves applying MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques to ensure safer and more reliable networks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in HV testing, including cable mapping, Vacuum Interrupter testing, and transformer testing.

Responsibilities
  • Apply MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques to ensure safer and more reliable networks
  • Gain authorisation for High Voltage (HV) testing, including cable mapping, Vacuum Interrupter testing, and transformer testing
  • Perform service work in Asset Diagnostics, such as condition assessments, partial discharge surveys, and data analysis/report writing
  • Collaborate with the team to improve asset condition data analysis methods
  • Provide general support across the team and the business
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Electrical background essential (time-served Electrician)
  • Knowledge of MV/HV electricity distribution and HV testing experience
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
