Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Design Expert - Electrical Engineer to join our Critical Systems team in the UK. As a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer, you will provide electrical design expertise for our clients across various sectors. Your role will involve managing project work, completing detailed designs, and supervising the work of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own project work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, promoting their development and growth within the company.
  • Maintain excellent levels of client service, delivering high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that drive business success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve processes and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in high voltage design, with a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire confidence in colleagues and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in specialist software, such as ETAP, Paladin, and Trimble.
